Artscape is fast approaching. For those unfamiliar, this free 3-day festival features arts of all kinds, visual, music, dance, jewelry, movies, video games, and fashion, all in the heart of downtown Baltimore. I live in the epicenter of the event, so I'll be going at least some portion of all three days, and if anyone wants to join me, you're welcome to come!

I'll be attending at some point during the following times (tentatively):
Friday: 4p-10p
Saturday: 11a-2p
Sunday: 2p-7p

FYI, parking will be rough, bring cash and be prepared to walk a few blocks! The festival is adjacent to the light rail (Cultural center stop), subway (State center stop), Charm City Circulator (purple line), and multiple bus lines. I'll try to remember to post on the board when I'm at the festival, but if you aren't sure and want to meet up, just message me.

Heading down to the festival. I'll be there pretty much all day. I plan to catch a few short films at the Charles from 4-5:30 :-)

FYI, today I won't be there as long; probably from 1-3 pm. I'll be there more tomorrow though.

It's a three day event, so any day that works for you is fine :-)

Anything Otaku there at Artscape? Like will they sell anime figures and Gundam model kits and Newtype magazines?

It can't recall much otaku specific stuff, but you can check their website for events and vendors that may interest you: http://www.artscape.o...

There's the Gamescape section, where you can find some old arcade games mixed with demos and games from local indie creators. That's the closest you'll get to otaku culture at Artscape.
