Our next installment of the Song Exchange Circle will be for Beginners!

Come learn some 2 & 3 Chord Songs!

Intermediate and Advanced Players are welcome to join, but this is a Beginners event -- be prepared to help!

This is what the BGG is all about, pairing Beginners with more advanced players in a friendly non-intimidating setting. If you just picked up a guitar or need some brush up, this is the Jam for you! This is sure to be a great time for everyone.

Munchies and Soda will be provided (maybe I'll order some pizza)

It was my first time out to a BGG gathering, and I must say it was awesome to meet so many welcoming and enthusiastic people!!! I actually learned a lot just by watching so many awesome guitarists do their thing. Thanks to Steve and Eric for hosting, and to everyone I had a chance to speak with! Next time I'll be sure to bring music for everyone, and hopefully get to spend some time hanging out and chatting with people I missed this go around. Later!

very nice... I was late, hadn't practiced, brought the wrong book, and was falling asleep after a long day & the group made me feel welcome. a song list ahead of time might smooth things out; I have been at jams where folks agree ahead of time.. that may or may not be apropriate in this case. I had intended on bringing print outs of songs so it would be easier for others to follow along

i'll be going to the Song Exchange Circle, however the directions did not include an actual street address. the map stops short of an actual house number. any help?

  Hi Patrick, because this is being held at a private address we choose to not publicly display where events like this are held. All Private Residence addresses are emailed 1-2 days prior to the event.

  My first weekend warrior gig came with a country band to whom the idea of practice was utterly unknown. I ended up learning to play '3 chord johnnies' by ear while getting paid 20 bucks a night to suck. It was on the job training, do or die. It took a few weeks, but I can still play simple songs by ear.
