What a well-planned, thoughtful event put on by Joe and Karen. Fun, food and music by the pool with friends. Doesn't get much better than that. Michelle and I thank you!

Hope the back held up all the way to the beach

Once Michelle helped me out of the car, was fine. Better today - of course, sitting on a beach all day beats most other days. Thanks.

Can't locate my sunglasses but don't actially recall what brand they are, so they may be mine. Already checked the top of my head but will look around here some more and get back to you.

See joe q's note. He has the sunglasses.

Hey Guys, also somebdy left a pair of Revo sunglasses and an "Ultimate" guitar stand. When you claim them, checks or credit card payments are fine. Except for Joe M. or Dave H. - you guys could even pay cash, and I'd still want to see two forms of id ;)

Many thanks to you both, Joe and Karen, for the wonderful soirée. I'm so sorry that I forgot to say proper thank you'd and goodbyes but I got sidetracked with carrying gear and after I put those boots back on with the trunks it wasn't pretty! Thanks for the wonderful effort and a "groovy" time. I'll have to catch up with you in the hat by the time Sue has her shindig! :)

    July 27

  • Joe Q.

Thanks everybody for coming out! I'm looking forward to tomorrow when I get to take pictures of myself in my new hat. Seriously joe M. - I'll hold your hat for you. And somebody left a camera behind - we'll keep it safe !

What a fun event! Great music, food, fun and especially people. Joe and Karen thought of everything to transform us back to the 70's! Surprised you didn't install shag carpeting though.

I am going to be optimistic at this point and assume that I will be able to reschedule a family commitment that I have for the same day so I don't have to miss this extremely fun sounding event!
