"Happy Hour" - Sing for folks at Sunrise Senior Living in Pikesville

New Time for 2012 Season

They want us back!!!!

We had a great time and so did the residents so we're gonna do it again in 2012!!!

To our surprise they seem to like that old time Rock & Roll and up beat music.

Need Volunteers!!!

and a PA each month!!!

Starting in April 2011, we will be having this event on the 2nd Thursday of each month.

Let's get some players out and put some smiles on those Seniors faces

and some spring in those steps.

attended the Open Mic at Village Coffee & Tea Company, and asked if BGG

would play the Happy Hour at the Senior Center. So we're going to do just that!

It would be nice to get some of the Bluegrassers, Jazz,

and older (50's, 60's, 70's) rock & roll players,

since we'll be playing to senior citizens.

Happy Hour is from 6:30 - 8:00pm

(free beer (limited) & soda for the players)

My thanks to al who participated at the open mike. Everyone played wonderfully and the seniors were entertained. I want to say a special THANK YOU to Stan for setting up his PA equipment and sharing with everyone. He allowed us all to be heard and for all there to hear his very lovely finger style guitar work. Thank you all.

I can bring my 2 channel acoustic amp with XLR and 1/4" inputs as a last resort.
