The BGG has given me the avenue to improve tremendously and to have a great time with great people. I would not be where I am now without the BGG!!! THE SKY IS THE LIMIT!!!!
Intermediate thanks to a wonderful guitar teacher and of course the BGG and Bloody Mary Mike!
Saw the add on Craigs List Baltimore
Either my Breedlove 12 String or my Martin
So many from Stevie Ray Vaughn to Peter Mayer, to Howard Livingston to Jimmy Buffett as a true performer, but not limited to these.
Had a rare Monday off from my harmonica lesson, so I decided to check out the Glen Rock Mill Jam and enjoyed it more than I expected. Being a new BGG member and this being the first open mic I ventured out to, I did not know what to expect and just wanted to sit and watch and get the feel on what goes on and the members of the group. It was a warm, inviting atmosphere and Rocky made me feel like I was one of the family. The next time I get a chance to head to the Mill I will be bringing my guitar to do a few songs and use it as a vehicle to improve my playing like it is meant to be. Great job Rocky!!!! Wayne

Wayne - (and rest of group that I met!) -
Thank you so much for making me feel so welcome last night at Bay City - what a wonderful experience! I had a fantastic time and felt so at ease! Really gave me hope that I can eventually get over the stage fright - especially hearing from you (and others) about how you handled getting up there the first few times. What a great group of people!! Can't wait till the next one!
Thanks for the information - and the offer to let me pick your brain! I've been to a few other open mic nights throughout the lower PA area (to watch of course) :) - but this sounds like a particularly interesting group. I greatly appreciate the warm welcomes and will absolutely make every attempt to attend on Thursday! Hope to see you then! ~~~ M
it was great meeting you. Sorry but I am in hampstead now. Former PA resident. Hope to play with you soon
Thanks for the welcome! We're attending the Marshy Point event and looking forward to meeting everyone. Liam (my son, who is the guitarist) volunteers there and performed publicly there for the first time when Kirk, the center director, let him join in on some Christmas songs at their holiday party (that's where my photo was taken). He's 13 and learning - hope you have room for a young beginner! See you tomorrow :-)
