What level guitarist are you? (Beginner, Intermediate, Advanced, Expert)

Advanced due to right hand Travis picking dexterity coupled with the discovery of alternative tunings. Playing 45 years.

Where did you find out about the Baltimore Guitarist Group? If from a member, please put their name.

Someone at Perry Hall UMC folk night mentioned that they are a member. I got time since I retired.

What is your favorite guitar that you own?

So many, each has a particular use in studio or at open mike. Martin D45, Taylor[masked]ce, Gibson Les Paul, resonator, Galveston Roundback, a Pyle electric bass (latest toy), baritone uke, charango, 6 string banjo, mandolin,[masked] handmade fiddle (Chesapeake Collectibles appraisal), cuartro, bunches of other guitars.

What guitar do you wish you owned?

Pappizion hand made in NYC. Never, never land, I'm afraid!

Who is your biggest guitar influence and why?

Peter Yarrow and Noel Paul Stookey of Peter Paul and Mary. They literally taught me to play. Leonard Cohen and every Mississippi Delta Bluesman.

Introduction

Folksinger, songwriter. Produce 2 cd's per month in my little basement studio.

What Steve G. is saying about this Meetup Group

Too early to tell. I suppose I should avoid some venues (bars) and embrace others.
