I've played guitar for over 40 years, in Church and small gatherings. Mostly around the house. I'd like to play with other players as a way to expand my repertoire and playing knowledge.
Intermediate. I guess I'm a good intermediate. I haven't done much to get better in the last 20 years, so I'm looking for an opportunity to play with others and pick up some pointers and tricks.
On Line. I found the Baltimore Bluegrass group first and the Guitarist Group is on their bulletin board.
Martin VHD-28 custom.
Maybe an acoustic/electric bass guitar. No model specifically identified.
Chet Atkins, Tony Rice, Dan Timinski, Doc Watson.
It has some really good stuff going on... I don't do open mic's because I can't remember the words! Ha Ha... maybe someday.

Welcome to BGG Dale. You've got the right idea, I'm amazed how much I've learned just by playing with others. We've got quite a few members in common with the Bluegrass group.
