Introduction

Currently I'm playing contemporary Christian music every Sunday, but I've been looking to find some folks to do some John Prine, Steve Earle, John Hiatt, Lyle Lovett, Chris Knight, etc., music with.

What level guitarist are you? (Beginner, Intermediate, Advanced, Expert)

Intermediate on a good day!

Where did you find out about the Baltimore Guitarist Group? If from a member, please put their name.

A friend sent me a link.

What is your favorite guitar that you own?

Acoustic, HD28. Acoustic/Electric Guild Songbird

What guitar do you wish you owned?

The Stratocaster my son ran off with, and maybe a Gibson 335.

Who is your biggest guitar influence and why?

Acoustically Mississippi John Hurt for his right hand. Mark Knopfler is another, but I think I'm more influenced by writing and simplicity than technical ability (think John Prine)

Hey, Doc! And I've been known to cover John Prine from time to time, though it's been a while. Thanks for the welcome!
