I'm happy with what I got...
When I was about 16 after playing a bit I went to Blockbuster and in the music video section I found this guitar instructional compilation video of some guitarist I than heared about but not really knew them. It was Yngwie/Gilbert/Kotzen/Lynch, after watching the tape I was hooked on shredding ever since.
Hello, My name's Tom, and I joined to play, exchange ideas, teach/learn from others. I've been playing since I was about 14, and I have a degree in classical guitar performance from UMBC, but I stoped playing formal classical after graduating. Now I
Hi Tomasz welcome! Hope to meet you soon at an upcoming event. Please take the time to view our upcoming events and RSVP. Don't see something feel free to make a suggestion.
Thanks for joining OHOM(why that looks weird with just the initials).
based on your intro, you should check out the upcoming concert we are hosting. It's a local Rockville Russian/American Punk band that is going to do an acoustic show for us. They will be combining their own music in with some Russian classics and American covers. Should be a great show.
Thanks for joining GII, if you are looking for some great cycling in this area you have joined the right group. Please tell your friends about us and I hope to see you soon on our rides.
“Ride Long Live Long”
Welcome to the group group! :) We have the first meetup on December 6. I think the details are in the main page of the group. Hope you join! :)
by the way, I am trying to be a musician... again... I used to play the guitare. But I stopped playing 13 years ago. I used to play the piano 20 years ago and i recently started re-learning the piano and just started singing class. I had no idea singing was actually so hard and so technic. anyway, I hope some day I will be able to say that I am a musician :-) . can't wait to start meeting everyone in this group.
Hi Tomasz, I am with Rob, it is really nice to see a musician in the group. So you are a fan of Adagio. that's cool! Stephan Forte, the leader of the band, is actually one of my best friend, we know each other for 19 years. I have been talking to him about the idea of bringin him here to do some master class here, but not sure yet how to organize this. if you have any advice I would love to hear it.
Awesome, Tom. Welcome to the Prog Metal group! Great to have at least one actual musician among us.
We are meeting on the 23rd. Check the meetup board for details. We would like to have you!
