Hello, I'm Cheryl. I grew up in Baltimore surrounded by musicians. Most of my friends are musicians, artists and the like. I listen to all types of music...seriously.

Who is your biggest guitar influence and why?

My mother. I grew up with her playing everything from Hank Williams, Kitty Wells, Johnny Cash, Creedance Clearwater, Little Richard & Chuck Berry. Others I enjoy include Beatles, Eric Clapton, Alvan Lee, Jorma Kaukonen & Robert Fripp (who I've meet personally). I've been lucky to have met and occasionally hang out with, interesting famous musicians.

Dear Cheryl - because i didn't really have a mother growing up my guitar playing and singing gave me something that my homelife did not. Now since we are in a new year hoping to get out of this isolated place where i am and move to annapolis - too much traffic in takoma park. would love to meet other musicians and play - hope i get what i want in the new year...
