I'm a singer/songwriter; I've been playing since October 2005. I'm mostly self-taught but have also had lessons. I love to perform and jam, plus I enjoy dabbling in home recording on the side.

My Martin 000CX-1E is my songwriting guitar, and it's like a best friend...
I love all guitars...I have a few and I'm not going to say no to any of them, acoustic or electric! I'd love a bass...
Right now it's the Folk and Roll stylings of the fab four from across the pond--no, not THOSE four--the string-breaking, kick-drum-thumping, bass-tossing, keyboard-banging, banjoriffic Mumford & Sons. Who did YOU think I meant??? <grin>

I see there doing the Little Falls Tavern Jam again. Great music! Great people! Great location!
Tomorrow, I jump into the World of Blue Grass (again), a local Meet Up (also fun). I enjoyed your original music at Little Falls last Meet Up.

Hi Meg!!
The open mics are one of the best learning tools that any level of player can do. It kind of puts you on the spot so to speak. it gives you the chance to wing any mistakes that are made. Welcome to the group. Hope to meet you soon.
Til Then,

Nice to meet you (however briefly) last nite. Great job! Look forward to seeing you at more events. Dress for some sidewalk jammin' on next thursday.
Glad you were able to come out! You did great, hope to hear/see you again sometime!
the address is 3 commerce street, dundalk, md, 21222. It is usually a 3 song limit, due to the popularity and crowd. Novices, to experts. I have heard some really cool things there. Look up the thread Open Mic Night in Dundalk. Its a big thread because it is a lot of fun, and a lot of members frequent on thurs nites. We would love to see and hear ya, so if you get the energy and time....do drop by...
Cheers!
