Advanced, I think! I've been playing since 1985, but there are plenty of times I don't feel I'm as proficient as I should be, especially at open mics.

Eric Clapton was a significant influence for years because of his phrasing, tone, and vibrato. Other guitarists who have influenced me include Jimmy Page, Jeff Beck, Tony Iommi, George Harrison, and Mick Ralphs from Bad Company.

It's a great outlet in a low to no threat environment. I've met some decent people in BGG and I'm glad they've put up with my playing!
