There are many. Can't really pick just one but David Gilmore comes to mind.
Hi everybody. I'm in Bel Air. I like a wide range of music but mostly play Beatles, America, Eagles, etc. I'm also a recording engineer and do my own home recording. Looking to record your material or just jam to good music?
Hang out with other musicians, shoot the breeze, Drink some beers, and play some tunes.
I enjoyed your rendition of one of my favorites.
I also enjoy performing Bowie tunes.
Are you performing locally or interested.
I am looking to perform originals and unique/classic covers.
I am located in Havre de Grace.
Wow, Jim, I haven't logged on in months. Sorry about that. I see you posted in July about my musical tastes....I play a lot of three chord wonders on acoustic and bluesy stuff on electric. Influences (and songs I know) range from Black Crowes, Springsteen, Bob Seger, Johnny Cash, Drive by Truckers, U2, etc...
I live off 924 just south of town, with a nice practice space. I would like to meet someone locally to play, have fun and get better. Let me know if it sounds good to you
Aww, thanks! I thought we did pretty good for it being our first time trying to perform it together ever. And sure, I'd be happy to do 'Dreams' with you sometime too! :)
Hey Jim - Likewise! I do some cover material as well (in fact I did some covers on my second set last night - I think you'd left), though it tends to reflect my relatively obscure tastes: Bevis Frond, Current 93, In Gowan Ring. But I also have some Tull and Richard Thompson in my repertoire, so I may not be completely hopeless around other musicians.
How's it going? Your "Broon's Bane" sounded great. I'm impressed. Thanks for the compliment on my playing. I never think I'm playing anything all that impressive. In fact, I feel I'm repeating myself too much each week. It's funny you mentioned "Classical Gas". That's a song I've toyed around with and have been meaning to learn fully. I also want to learn "The Clap" by Yes. You and Rick are a great duo by the way.
You got the right Ken. Hope to see you guys next week. If you think of any songs you might like to try to do together, let me know! Talk to you soon.
Hey Jimbo, Great Job at Little Falls. Definitely have to try to make next Wed.
Glad to see you aboard! Alot of great music and people here. The open mics are something to go to. I play around the late "60's & early "70's music like you do. I have written & recorded a few songs on my Roland VS 1824 cd yet I am not real good at it. I use my harmonica w/guitar with songs like Neil Youngs' Heart of Gold and a few more off his Harvest album. I am now getting over a surgery and plan to be back in a wk. or so. Hope to see you soon at the open mic nights Little Falls II WED..Larry
