Latin Palace Classes and Party on 1/18

Latin Palace is a fixture among dance venues in Baltimore.  Check it out if you haven't yet....

On Sat, 1/18, there will a meetup  there, which starts with two lessons.  The first is at 8 pm and covers: Adv. Beg/Intermediate Lesson.  Then the Beginner lesson starts at 9pm.  Lessons will be taught by Tabitha, and they cost $10 per person which includes entry to the open dance party afterwards.
Note that it is only $5 with the purchase of dinner.

Party Time 10pm-2am! Music for the night includes Salsa, Merengue, Bachata.
There is also a $10 cover to get into the club if you aren't taking a lesson.

The address is: 509 South Broadway, Baltimore, Maryland 21231.  You should know that this venue is in a neighborhood that isn't the best.  So lock your car, try to park near the club and keep your eyes open as you walk from your car.  This isn't just the Salsa crowd, and the music is a Latin mix.

They have food and a bar.  = The feel of this place is distinct; you know you are relaxing for the evening as soon as you walk in...  You can dance, or watch, and check out the upper level where you can look down and watch the dancing!   Enjoy!

I'm a complete Salsa beginner, but a little confused as to what I have read so far. They said that there were all levels at 8 pm and another Beginner's class @ 9pm. Can I and should I still come at 8 pm or is that going to be too overwhelming?

Hi Parker, if you are a complete beginner you should come to the 9pm class, the 8pm class will cover a combination of Partnerwork at the adv. Beginner/Intermediate level.

Adv. Beg/Int. Lesson@8pm, Beginner lesson@9pm. If you are coming for the beginner class be sure to arrive BEFORE 9pm, after 9pm you will have to pay the $10 entry fee at the door in addition to the $10 for the lesson, get there early folks! See you tonight!
