Greater Baltimore Sierra Club

Since 1892, the Sierra Club has been working to protect communities, wild places, and the planet itself. We are the largest and most influential grassroots environmental organization in the United States. Our founder, John Muir, appears on the back of the California quarter.

The Greater Baltimore Group of the Sierra Club has established this Meetup Group as another way to inform people of our outings.  Members and non-members are welcome.  The Sierra Club is dedicated to explore, enjoy, and protect the planet.  We offer a variety of outings of all difficulty levels--hiking, kayaking, tubing, camping.  Some outings announce that children and/or dogs may attend.

Note: Meetup is only one of several venues we use to advertise our outings.  The attendance reported here understates actual attendance.
