  • Oct 8, 2014 · 7:00 PM
  • This location is shown only to members

Do not be misled by a low reported turnout. This group has a private list of more than 500 members; Meetup is just 1 way this meeting is promoted.

This month's special guest presenter:

Croix Sather

Endurance Athlete & Speaker

"Champion Time Control"

Champions think different, right? Learn what it takes to be a champion in your life as “Marathon Man” Croix Sather shares stories of triumph and challenge to learn what it means to “Go The Distance.” This talk will grip your heart, and leave you feeling like anything is possible, and give you the strategies to make it happen. You will discover the “Head, Heart, & Soul of a Champion,” the key formula for remarkable success. It will inspire you to make your goals a reality, leveraging real life, business, and world record examples of accomplishment. You will walk away with a blueprint for remarkable success. Croix’s dynamic and engaging presentation will give you the most important strategies that every business professional must have to be successful.

Croix will also teach you his Champion Time Control secrets. In this portion of his talk he will show you how to make an extra million dollars in your career. How you can double your effectiveness and eliminate overwhelm and frustration. And how to get more done than you ever thought possible. And why time management will cause you to fail and struggle.

What others are saying about Croix’s presentation: “I’ve seen many presentations, Croix is the best of all of them.” “Awe inspiring.” “Ridiculously incredible.”

The media calls Croix “Marathon Man” because of his astonishing accomplishments. His audiences call him “Remarkable” because of his inspirational life story. In just two years, Croix went from a non-runner to a World Record Champion. First with a 2,621 mile Run Across America in 100 days. Then he broke the world record in the world’s toughest race, a solo unassisted run for 146 miles though Death Valley, CA.

Croix is an author and inspirational speaker of personal transformation, business strategies, and the psychology of success. Croix has been on the stages of TEDx NYC and Las Vegas, Fortune 500 corporations, and international associations.

Every month, The Baltimore/Washington PowerTeam features a special guest speaker delivering content on a variety of topics of interest to high performers like you. Health and fitness, nutrition, finances, relationships, careers, overall mental well-being – we cover it all. Plus our outstanding peer group offers the support, encouragement – and accountability – to help you stay on course toward the life you want to lead. Make plans to join us at our next meeting and help spread the word to others who would benefit from the value we provide!

• Meeting dates are usually the 2nd Wednesday of each month -- or as announced when conflicts arise. (See below)

• Please RSVP to me at '[masked]' if you can make it or contact me at[masked] if you have any questions or concerns.

• Bottled water & PowerBars available for donation. Please enjoy dinner before you arrive.

• Guests are always welcome and we'd appreciate a donation of $5 or $10 to help build our charitable budget. In past years, your generosity has helped us feed more than 2,000 local residents at-risk during our Basket Brigade annual food drives. In addition, we've also fed and cared for a number of local homeless people through our Backpacks For The Homeless initiative. Thanks to your help, we'll do even more this year!

Rest assured, we strive to give PowerTeam members an outstanding return on their investment of time and effort at every meeting. That means more social and volunteer activities. More personally relevant content. More skill and mastermind sessions. More goal setting. More support and accountability. If you know of a great presenter you'd like to recommend for an upcoming meeting, please let me know – we're always open to new guests who provide value.
