This group is about squash players in and around Bangalore, India.

Criterion

Anyone and everyone is welcome to join here. Whether you're a beginner or ace player, whether you can be regular or just come sometimes - doesn't matter. Just show up at our meetups and play!

Equipment

A lot of players carry their own equipment, and if you don't own a racket, you can share - although it's good to buy your own in the long term.

Schedule

We play every weekend - well at least a sub-set of all the players. Just follow the schedule which is being posted. You could also just create a meetup on your own - and wait for people to respond. In case there is not much response, contact the organizers.

Venues

We don't own any squash venues. Most places are on rental basis for that given meetup. It could be a sports center or court inside some township. And we're open to trying new venues. If there is a fee for the venue, players need to pay that amount.

Finances

As mentioned earlier, players need to pay for venue rental whenever they come to play a game. Most venues have a per hour rent. Also, the meetup website costs $144 (approx INR 8000) per year. To recover that, every meetup costs about INR 200, which is divided among attendees.
