I put off going for 1 1/2 years because of some bad experiences at other jams. Finally got there last night and glad I did. What separated this one out from past ones for me? Well, it was warm and friendly - and that's what I wanted. As soon as I got there I took out my banjo and started playing along. Also had the chance to chat with people and make connections. What I really want to do now is find a few folks from the group who'd like to meet outside the jam to practice together.

The Jam gets better every time. Thanks to AJ for tonight's dynamic leadership and to Sue Batkin for the very thoughtful way in which she organizes the event.

I started the group because there wasn't any other type of group like this. I've met some great folks in the group who have become close friends and have also met some amazing business owners.
