Group is getting verrry large. Don't know what to do about this--could have person who leads have a mike? One thing I noticed: most/many participants did not seem to order anything from the bar. I think that participants should at least order one drink, even a club soda. I don't think we are good enough to be considered entertainment for other patrons so we should support Paddy Reilly's by having at least one drink. In general, jam is well run and an important addition to the NYC bluegrass scene. There energy and spirit were high as usual. Keep up the good work!

It was a great jam last night. There was a good turn-out. In the beginning we got off to a bit of a rough start. But over time, everyone seemed to get the hang of the jam etiquette. I would like to put out a friendly reminder to all the wonderful and enthusiastic people who participate: it's really important to look, listen, and think in terms of the group. When someone else is playing a break, it's their turn to shine -- so show your fellow players your support and pipe down. Seriously make that effort. In addition, we all appreciate those who come prepared with songs to lead. Without you, the jam simply couldn't happen, so thank you for taking that initiative!! One more thing: Paddy's is a wonderful space. Let's show Steve Duggan our appreciation by patronizing their bar a little bit more. Buy a soda, a beer -- anything. Thanks.

Last time I think I saw a list of songs to work on for the meetup... do we have a list for the upcoming meetup? :) Kelly (can't wait!)

What time do y'all jam until? I'll be getting out of work at 7:30, so I may be too late!

I started the group because there wasn't any other type of group like this. I've met some great folks in the group who have become close friends and have also met some amazing business owners.
