Introduction

I'm a Londoner. I work in the Organising & Recruitment Team at the Trades Union Congress the UK equivalent of of the AFL-CIO. It is vitally important for UK workers that Barak is elected. We need that 'change' as much as US workers.

What are your top priorities for Barack's administration?

What Tom mellish is saying about this Meetup Group

As a British supporter of Obama (I work for the UK trade unions. In the light of globalisation we need a US president that supports and will enact the Employee Free Choice Act as this will have implications for organised labour around the world - this is one of my reasons to support Barack) it was good to meet with like minded others and feel part of a group/movement that is doing things and encourages you to become involved. It also reaffirms the views you hold and gives you hope that things will change. Even if you don't want to be active this is an excellent group to make friends with like minded people and to find out what going on in the Democrat campaign, which you can't always pick-up the truth of on digital news channels.
