Barcamp Brisbane III: The Search for Flock

Would be great if everyone could try and bring at least 1 "Barcamp virgin" along with them. Would be great to make this a pretty big one like last time.
Usual Barcamp format - feel free to come and talk about anything you like, doesn't have to be IT, we always get a very diverse crowd so someone will listen!
Talks are limited to 20mins and we are going to be strict on time. Try and plan your talk to last 10 minutes so there is time for questions. We'll have a couple of projectors - so if you want to hook up your laptop to present, that's cool - just make sure you have a VGA output.
We will also have a "show and tell" corner where you can bring anything that you want to show off. Steve is bringing along the OLPX XO laptops and some of us are going to bring along our old "retro-computers" so we can create a little museum for the day.
Apart from that - the day is yours, so if you have any specific ideas bring them along and try it out.

For those that wondered - "the search for flock" has nothing to do with content of this bar camp - it was just a play on the words of the 3rd Star Trek movie. I had just seen the new movie the night started this meetup :)

David TangyeA very high level of very positive participation by the attendees ,which is central to the concept of Barcamps. I see this type of event as the future of meetings for all but diehard "passive consumers of entertainment". A great way to get easily involved in an event at whatever level you feel comfortable with.
