Apologies to the Brisbane lot - please ignore.

Hi All

I am very excited to announce that something I have been trying to get started for a long time is about to get started! Gold Coast Tech Space is our own version of Hackerspace and we are proud to announce that we have managed to get secure ourselves an area on the Gold Coast that we can now call our own.

We are hosting a "Kick-off" meeting on Tuesday 25th October at the space (Johnson St, Southport). Come along and have a look at the space and take part in the start of what I'm sure will be an interesting journey!

For all the details and to RSVP - please go to the following meetup entry

Many thanks to all the other people that made this happen, in particular Nick Byrne & Lucas Brandt who have took on the initial lease & insurances while we get ourselves kick-started.

Steve
