To celebrate the arrival of Unreasonable at Sea to Barcelona we are organizing a unique event where the 11 Unreasonable at Sea founders will take the stage to present their journey around the world, and starting up their impact startups. Moreover, we will count with the presence of guest speakers including; Xavier Vilalta (sustainable architect & TED Fellow), Daniela Schiffer & Markus Schulz from Changers.com, Luke Jones from Semester at Sea, and Anna Quintero from Infojobs.

BARCELONA GETS UNREASONABLE

Something very Unreasonable is about to happen, and you should be part of it. We are talking about the arrival to Barcelona of the Unreasonable at Sea program. We are going to celebrate it big time!

What is Unreasonable at Sea? A startup mentoring program where 11 technology-based startups and20 world-class mentors have been traveling together on a boat for 105 days, visiting 16 cities in 12 countries, in search for new opportunities to create impact with their solutions. Unreasonable at Sea is a radical experiment in global entrepreneurship to combat the greatest challenges of our time.

Unreasonable at Sea is a partnership between Boulder-based Unreasonable Institute, a leading accelerator in the environmental and social entrepreneurship sector, Semester at Sea the only study abroad program on a ship circumnavigating the globe and Stanford's d.school, the world leader in design thinking education.

You don't want to miss this unique opportunity to connect with the local and international community of innovators, entrepreneurs, and change makers.

How nice to hear such brilliant minds dedicated to the task of solving important world problems! It was very inspiring to be amongst that much talent and creative energy. As well, as a presentations and language coach, it was really interesting to hear so many different presentations, some more polished than others, and for the ones that weren't, well, it inspired me to want to work with blossoming entrepreneurs to help them hone the clarity of their message and delivery style.

A very inspirational event on the power of entrepreneurship to combat the biggest issues affecting our planet. Tonight at Shoku is a loosely affiliated event with Unreasonable at Sea BCN, however, many of today's speakers and attendees will be be there. The instructions were to arrive around 22:00, so a bit earlier than normal but should be a good time. See you there!

Hey Scott, thanks for clarifying! So 22:00 is 00:00 Spanish time, right?! ;-) I will try to motivate myself to go tonight in this crappy weather, but if I don't make it I hope to meet some of you very soon. Hasta pronto!

Hello. This was my first event and I enjoyed the conference a lot but did not get the opportunity to meet anyone from the meetup... I am unclear of how tonight's mixer will happen at Shoko. Is it actually an organized event where the speakers of today will attend or just a random event?

I started the group because there wasn't any other type of group like this. I've met some great folks in the group who have become close friends and have also met some amazing business owners.
