Looking forward to seeing a number of you at our next hack session on Sunday April 27th from 1-5pm ( http://electronicmusic.meetup.com/152/calendar/7665909/
). The last one at Citizen Space was enjoyable; we explored OSC Servers, Ruby audio timing, Arduino controllers, Live control strategies, and some other fruitful directions.
Also, We are preparing for the Maker Faire on May 3-4 ( http://www.makerfaire.com
). If you were planning on being involved with us at Maker Faire and I haven't contacted you already today, send me an email.
Ge's Stanford Laptop Orchestra performances are coming up. The first one is next Saturday April 26th, 3pm @ Stanford. Here are the details: http://electronicmusic.meetup.com/152/calendar/7742264/
Ge will be working with us on the community based Laptop Orchestra of the Left. Checking out these events will be good inspiration for this - as well as laptop performance in general.
Finally, if you have a space in San Francisco and would like to host us for our hack session next Sunday April 27th 1-5pm, let me know. Our potential space has to reschedule. Required resources would be a space for roughly 15-20 people with chairs, table(s), and wifi.
All the best,
Bay Area Computer Music Technology Group (BArCMuT) Organizer
