I'm looking for an electronic music "partner(s) in crime" to create something ready for the dance floor anywhere, but there's a definite learning curve involved. Now I'm not a total novice by any means - I've got some digital recording experience, I just feel its time to learn all this new software I've got now: Ableton Live LE7, Apple Garageband, Steinberg Cubase LE4, etc. and an Apple Laptop that goes anywhere. All the basic tools are there, it's time to sit down and learn them 'hands on'.
Of course, that's best done by collaboration on a project. If you're in a similar spot and want to learn the details on which software does what and how to get pro level music out of them, perhaps we should get together once/twice a week and figure out. Who knows, some killer techno could come out the other end ...
Thanks for your attention !
