Hi Rigel,

I would suggest sending an email out to the group. Since you are on the list you should be able to. Just send your email to:

I've been on your list for some time but usually unable to come to your meetings. However, I thought you might be able to get the word out about something I will be doing in the near future. In cooperation with a group called the digital tipping point, I'm going to be teaching kids about free and open source software, holding a session every three weeks, and focusing on audio applications.

The problem is, I'm really not very proficient with this stuff. I have it on my home machine, and putter with it when I have the time, but I'm by no means an expert. I'm hoping to make up in breadth what I dont know in depth, but I still feel like i should have a little something extra. Like, for example, bring in an actual musician who works with this stuff for a little demo and talk, guest speaker style.

I'm hoping you know someone like this. I'd really appreciate if you could put the word out for me that I'm looking for someone to help out. I could also use someone to ask questions, but i can use forums etc for that kind of stuff too, so i'm mainly looking for someone to come in and play something kid-friendly and go over how they made it.

Thanks for any help you can lend.
