Pianist, organist and carrillonneur Dave Hatt is one of the Bay Area's
best players of contemporary piano and organ music. In addition to his
regular gig at St. Mary's Church, he has played organ with the San
Francisco Symphony on several occasions and organizes the Bay Area Reger
On Tuesday at Tom's Place he will do new works and contemporary classics
for piano, including:
Gino Robair's 17 of the World's Favorite Tone Rows
(for prepared piano, world premier)
The first movement of Elliott Carter's Piano Sonata
The third movement of Charles Ives's First Piano Sonata
Homer Keller's Piano Sonata
and a new Hatt composition/improvisation with Gino Robair.
