SUNDAY Basketball @ 9:30AM (Arlington - Pentagon City)

Another great day weather wise for some hoops. Come on out and get your game on!

Sid. Why all the really early start times? I know you want to occasionally let the early crown get in but 11am seems much better. At least for Sundays. It hasn't even been hot(which I could see necessitating early start times).

Jon~ We've been starting earlier to take advantage of the cooler mornings as well as "claim" one of the two courts since another large non-meetup group often plays there. It also helps manage/spread the meetup crowd by minimizing game waiting time, as it's not fun having to wait more than two games. It works since everyone doesn't show up at the official start time and rolls in based on their own schedule/situation.
On Sunday if you come at 11, many will still be out there playing.

It's not a big deal either way. I have been there most sundays recently, and there hasn't typically been a meetup group and a non meetup group (except last sunday). So far, once our games are done and people have left, there are no more full court games. We were done and people were gone by noon last sunday. So, if I were to have come at 11 or 11:30, it would have been too late. And, once it reaches 20 people, we can do 2 courts anyways. The cooler weather is definitely an advantage to early start times though.
