Introduction
Never get enough of the hounds. We have 3, Mutya, the boss lady at 14, Diamond, the Dude is 4 and Ruby, the tomboy is 2. lotsa bassetude. We do a lot with the dogs, obedience, tracking and field trials, oh and picnics, too.

Thanks for your help. I saw an opthamologist in Sherman Oaks today (Complete Animal Eye Care). He said that his vision is gone. He also wants to remove his eye. I am really sick about this. He gave me 4 prescriptions, but they all cost $110 to $125 each. I am at a loss of what to do. Very stressful for both me and General. I dont want to remove his eye, but might have to.

Dan, perhaps you would post the idea to Bruce (organizer) for a begining tracking class. If the fee for a trainer was managable, say $10 or $15 per hound, I'm sure there would be a lot of interest. Or, we might find a trainer-person to volunteer an hour training and the fees could be donated to Basset rescue Daphnyland in Acton. My adopted former circus poodles would be up for it as well. They love an audiance and Rosebud sometimes thinks they are rabbits.
