Thanks, Joni.

This is Bronwyn Edwards Cryer, creator of that Basset Hound song "A Basset is an Asset" (YouTube).
Just want to add that we are scrambling here (but VERY excited!) to put on this Benefit Concert on May 15, so the time is set for 7 pm at Fellowship Hall, Fauntleroy Church, down in south-west Seattle near the Fauntleroy Ferry Terminal.

My friends, vocalists Sarah Ackers and Betsy Boyer and I will perform folk, jazz, and a little gospel music with guitars and piano.  Hopefully some of my other musician friends will join us for a great evening of music and fun to benefit Alexa and JP.  We're still working on it but I will post some details on my site at www.abassetisanasset.com as soon as we have them!!!  My basset hound Charlee is the mother of Alexa and JP's basset Henry.  Henry's brother Beaumont also lives with me.

Some of you travellers may have seen me playing piano in the main terminal at SeaTac airport over the Christmas holidays during the past 3 years.  There is more info about me on my website at www.bronsongs.com   Hope to see you on May 15!

Subject: [bassethound-32] Fire Update/ Fund Raisers

Hi Everyone,

We would like to thank everyone who has called and emailed with help and donations. We will personally get back to you when we know what we need. I will write more tonight when I get home from work but want to give everyone a quick update. Alexa and JP are still in the hotel and their insurance is finding them a place to live. The dogs are all placed in foster homes and doing well.

We will be having several fund raisers coming up.

Mark your calendars for Sat evening May 15th. There will be a benefit concert with all money raised going to Alexa and JP. It will be given by a jazz/folk trio that includes Meet Up member Bron (who made A Basset is Asset). It will be in West Seattle and there is seating for 300 so bring all your family and friends.
I will pass along cost and location as soon as it is available to me.

We are working on having a huge garage sale and are trying to secure and indoor location and a storage unit to keep the items until the sale.

There is handcrafted Basset jewelry for sale at http://www.etsy.com/shop/pinupgrl76
money from these will also benefit Alex & JP.

Moon Doggie Coffee Fund Raiser

I received this today and I will give my personal review of this coffee- It rocks!!!! Try it and help out a good cause at the same time.

Beginning Friday May 7 until Thursday May 13, our fundraiser will benefit Alexa Paul to
help rebuild Puget Sound Basset Rescue.

Go to <http://www.moondoggiecoffee.com/> www.moondoggiecoffee.com, place your
coffee order and make sure you note in the comments section that the proceeds
are for The Paul's.

100% of our profits from every order placed by members of our extended basset
family as well as their friends and family will go directly to help the Paul's put their lives back together. So please, forward this info to everyone in your email address book and post on your Facebook and Twitter pages
as well.
