Let's meetup and be a part of this year's Cutting Edge: CE and Actors Expo.

Our Meetup group has been invited to be a part of this years Cutting Edge: CE on Friday September 28th, 2012 from 5pm to 7pm at Gallier Hall in the 3rd floor ballroom.

Cutting Edge C.E. (formerly the Cutting Edge Music Business Conference) was started in 1993 as a conference dedicated to educating musicians and music professionals about the latest trends in the music industry.

Since its inception, it has evolved into entertainment workshops covering legal issues, filmmaking, interactive applications and media business education. The Louisiana Actors Expo has also partnered with Cutting Edge: CE to create the largest entertainment professional-development event in the Gulf South. Together they return to New Orleans for a another year of career development and professional opportunities for actors and aspiring actors in Hollywood South.

Cutting Edge C.E. brings together established and aspiring entertainment professionals; it is as much about bringing people in the entertainment business together as it is about the business of entertainment.

This year Cutting Edge will screen films in Lafayette Square and Gallier Hall. They will also be launching a fun event, the twenty-four film rodeo where they encourage people to film, take pictures, do visual art work - all images New Orleans up-load it to the internet - provide it to Cutting Edge and they will show them in the park and in Gallier Hall. Also again they will be screening the best of the 48 hour project.

They are also doing panels on Film Distribution, Reality TV and book publishing.

Our meetup group has been invited to be a part of this wonderful event and we will be having a huge meetup on Friday September 28th from 5 - 7 at the Gallier Hall, 3rd Floor Ballroom.

Our special guest speakers for this meetup are:

Sorry for the confusion but I need to make a correction to this meetup. Cutting Edge and The Expo are not partnered this year. Our Meetup Group has been invited by Cutting Edge: CE to hold our huge Meetup. I was mistaken when I said that the Louisiana Actor's Expo was partnered with Cutting Edge: CE. I apologize for the confusion.

Please note that the Actor's Expo will be holding their Film Finance Forum and Pitch to Producers during the same time that our meet up will be held at Cutting Edge. It is an awesome time for the Louisiana Film Industry to have two wonderful events taking place at the same time. Hopefully you can attend one or the other or both but I don't want people feeling like they are going to one main event when in fact they are two separate events.

I hope to see you at these events and again I apologize for the confussion. It was my error and not the error of Cutting Edge or The Louisiana Actor's Expo.

I decided to start Reno Motorcycle Riders Group because I wanted to be part of a group of people who enjoyed my passion... I was excited and nervous. Our group has grown by leaps and bounds. I never thought it would be this big.
