Subject: Celtic's Patrick Mulhearn discusses why film rebates matter to Louisiana

Hi Susie,

I hope you are doing well, and I'm glad that you are still actively involved in fighting for the tax rebates here in Louisiana.

Recently I had the opportunity to interview Patrick Mulhearn, the Executive Director of Celtic Studios. He discussed what it is like to run a studio on a day-to-day basis and what filmmakers can do to have a better studio experience.

More relevant to the current battle to preserve the film rebates though, Patrick and I discussed why the tax rebates are beneficial to Louisiana and why they also have the potential to strengthen the film industry as a whole.

It was a captivating conversation, and I think anyone involved in the film industry here in Louisiana will benefit from hearing it.

You can find that interview by visiting http://podcast.nsavides.com/ns15. It is also on iTunes and Stitcher. Please pass this along to anyone you think might appreciate it.

Thanks,
Nick
