Baton Rouge Film, TV, Theater & Music Industry Meetup Group Message Board › ★ Last Semester to Be Cast in The Faith-Based Film ★
New Orleans, LA
Whether you are just beginning or have been working for years in front of the camera, you now have a remarkable opportunity to work on a feature film with a professional crew.
In one week, the next semester of The Actors Alliance starts, and the actors who will be auditioning and cast in a faith-based film to be shot this fall will be developing their craft.
This could be a momentous break for your career. Students not only get the best acting training in the South; they will have a role in a class feature film after training has ended. Experienced actors in class will audition for and be cast in the largest roles in the film. Beginner actors will be cast in roles in keeping with their training, experience, and type using their strengths so they look their very best.
The cast of the film will include all students who make the commitment to train for the next semester. Each one will be considered for a role in this production. There will also be smaller roles and featured extra roles, so something for everyone.
If you want to train but don't care to be in the film, you can still study these techniques as each semester is stand-alone training.
★ CURRICULUM ★
SCENE STUDY ON CAMERA
Working with sides from films, you will practice scene study, pacing, and timing and train to work with others on camera, especially for close-ups, so you are prepared when we shoot your scenes on the weekends (and in some cases during the week) during principal photography, starting in September. By the time you walk on set, you will be cool, collected, experienced, and ready for your close-up!
After your six weeks of studying acting for film and learning all the steps you must take to succeed, you will have a confidence that it could take years to develop without an amazing opportunity and priceless experience like this one!
The Actors Alliance is the only private acting school that gives actors that opportunity to train and then audition for an important role in a film. If you are serious about acting in film, you want to enroll in this course.
