Dungeons and Dragons (4e) - Daughter of Agony - Chapter 2

A storm is brewing across the land. A sinister force weaves its dark ambition into the tapestry of the world... but to what end? A long-term Living Forgotten Realms Dungeons and Dragons 4th Edition homebrew campaign set in Faerun.

Crystalbrook: a town on the brink of war. But far more dangerous are the warped pockets of reality that have been spreading out over the past week. The future looks bleak, but the timely arrival of a band of brave adventurers may be the town's salvation once again.

The story so far:

Chapter 1

The party encountered a powerful Drow who claimed to be a Goddess. Whether or not this is true remains to be seen, but what is clear is that she is taking an active part in foul deeds. Naturally, this cannot be allowed to continue.

Chapter 2

Arriving in Crystalbrook, the party learned that a stolen artifact has been causing unrest between the humans of the town and the nearby Sildaine elves, as well as some odd (and potentially dangerous) local phenomena. The group entered the Feywild searching for the artifact. After rescuing some leprechauns from some spiders, the group met the soul of Porpherio, the owner of this island, and were offered a rest at his glade. After the rest, the party came upon a flight of pixies, one of whom had been severely beaten by a "black-elf". Following a hamadryad, they sought the archfey Uma, the Summer Queen, who gave them advice on how to enter Porpherio's castle. Given the danger ahead, she told the party to ask her husband Ragnar for aid, and so they went...

DM Notes: The party will receive an extended rest before the next combat encounter, but not before the time when this session picks up. You should all come expecting to have an extended rest. Note also that on 6 May there will NOT be a session.

It was requested that I post the words of the leprechaun:

If the water you would take

A great fortune you can make

Look beside the cauldron deep

Underneath the castle keep

The driver and exceptionally ebullient player has had her day off changed from Mondays. So... hi.
