*** MORE UPDATES ****
Right now there are just two of us signed up. So there is room for at least one more to sign up. If you wern't able to call, then call them at[masked] weekdays.
And if we do get more than three, I say call them and see if they can accomodate you.
*** UPDATES ***
First, note that I moved the time up to 12:45pm. I think it works better to have it a little earlier.
So I just got off the phone with Sea Trek and I have got things lined out for the class. ...
To participate in the class you need to call Sea Trek at[masked] and sign up. Tell them you are with Josh Schulte's Roll Class. They will take your credit card number. Call during the week as they are too busy to book people on the weekend. If you get voice mail leave your name and phone number. They are pretty good about calling you back.
Please call by Wednesday Sept 26th. They have to make sure they can book enough instructors for the class. If you call after then you risk not being able to get in.
We need to cap the class at 9 or 10 participants. They really want to make sure it is around a 3:1 student to teacher ratio and they don't think they will be able to get more than 3 insturctors.
What To Bring: Kayaks and gear will be provided but you can bring your own gear if you like. They don't provide a few things that would be good to have, those being a swim cap, nose plugs, and a rash guard (or two) to wear under the wetsuit to try and stay warm.
Who is interested in taking the Kayak Roll Class at Sea Trek in Sausalito with me?
If we have 3 or more kayakers the class will be $65/person. There is a minimum of three. And as I understand it they try to set it up so every group 3 kayakers will get an instructor as they feel that is the optimum student to teacher ratio.
I have taken some classes with Sea Trek and found them to be top notch, much better that some other places I have been.
More info on the class can be found at:
I'm open to pretty much any weekend. Let's figure out who wants to go then set a date for it.
