10th Annual Breastfest: Microbreweries Battling Breast Cancer Festival

(7/16/10) BREASTFEST IS SOLD OUT!
Just in (7/6/10) The sponsors of Breastfest Beer festival will be providing complete meals at the event for all participants. This new addition means that you can have a variety of choices from a selection of hamburgers and hotdogs, sausages and chicken sandwiches and tons of finger foods from Whole Foods. Deserts and other specialty items are also provided. All for the price of admission! AMAZING!!! The Breastfest has become an annual event for Bay Area Beer Socials, and features a number of Northern California’s premier micro-breweries. This year, the event has expanded and is moving into the Herbst Festival Pavilion at Ft. Mason. The program also features around 60 breweries and the price of admission includes unlimited tastes and food (a great deal for just $45.00). What makes this event unique and one to consider - is the addition of lunch and other edible goodies in the cover charge. Normally, an event charges extra for food (which can add to the cost of attending an event), but this year, you can get a variety of hot and cold foods to go along with your beer. Some of the items include; * Hamburgers & Cheeseburger * Hot Dogs * Chicken Sandwiches * Veggie Burgers * Hot sausage Sandwiches * Corn on the cob * Salads * Finger foods * All types of beverages, including soda, water, etc. * Deserts Some of the breweries that are attending... Marin Brewing Company, 21st Amendment, Anderson Valley, Beach Chalet, Bear Republic, Black Diamond, Blue Frog Grog & Grill, Drakes Brewing, Fox Barrel Cider, Iron Springs, Moon Light, Moylan's, North Coast, Rubicon, Russian River, Santa Cruz Aleworks, Seabright, Speakeasy, Stone Brewing, Stumptown, Triple Rock, Trumer Brauerei, Two Rivers Cider. Tickets are now available on the official website
http://www.thebreastf... I'll post more information as the event gets closer. Cheers, Cliff

THIS EVENT IS SOLD OUT!!! If you didn't get your ticket(s), you're out of luck. Breastfest Beer Festival will be one for the books!!! The One Brick Beer Event on August 7th is filling up fast - as the listing is on three other group sites. This is more private and a great way to taste excellent beer. Sign up before it sells out!

Ok...I'm upgrading this event from good - to possibly outstanding, and rating it a "MUST ATTEND," Beer Social event. There's just too many good things happening to miss it.

Notes for 6/16/10. The Breastfest continues to grow in size with a number of excellent regional breweries joining the event. I will inform you if I discover that the festival is about to sell out - and from all indication - it will. I suggest getting in early and purchasing your ticket online.
