Introducing Cellarmaker Brewing Company

Cellarmaker Brewing Company has been in the works for quite some time.  They are an awesome new brewery in SOMA, who focus on hoppy beers, belgian-style saisons, dark beers, and sour beers. They are huge fans of wine and bourbon barrel aged beers as well so have a barrel program. Think bourbon barrels loaded with big chewy imperial stouts, excessively hopped IPAs, fruited sour beers, and funky saisons. This is what they love!

This week they are having a "soft" opening, and BABS will heading over to their tasting room on Thursday to try out their wares!  Look for a meetup sign to find us!

That was lame. Made it all the way down and they're at capacity. Just FYI for anyone still thinking about it. I'm pretty bummed.

I arrived at 7:15 and found no problem with access. Quite a bit of people were leaving

I must have arrived in those few minutes where they weren't allowing people in then, I guess. I was there around 7. Oh well. Maybe I'll check them out this weekend, if I have some time.

Stupid one day business trip! I have to miss this. I'll be going on Saturday if anyone wants to join me. They'll be having the Peach Nightmare on tap!

And time too, if possible. Hopefully, maybe Saturday it'll be more quiet/they'll have more room

Awesome, will be there for sure! Will they have growlers to go, or should we bring our own to fill, should we find a beer we love?

They sell growlers (32 oz and 64 oz), but also mentioned they will fill outside growlers. Prices were good (especially on the Hop Slangin' IPA), with pretty solid discounts on the 64 oz.

Can't make it, but had the opportunity to have some Cellarmaker yesterday at the Bistro's Wet Hop Fest -- good stuff, really looking forward to more from them!
