Avery at Original Gravity

Original Gravity presents a night of beers from Avery Brewing, one of the best and most recognized craft breweries in Colorado. (It’s my favorite in the state.) This event should have a beer style for everyone, pouring:

• India Pale Ale

• Ellie's Brown

• White Rascal

• Salvation Belgian Strong Ale

• Collaboration Not Litigation Belgian Strong Ale (Russian River Collaboration)

• New World Porter

• Mephistopheles Imperial Stout

• Uncle Jacob's Imperial Stout

Original Gravity is once again providing an exclusive hand-picked beer flight for our group. See me on the back patio to get a BABS sticker before ordering!

Since 1993, Avery has been committed to producing eccentric ales and lagers that defy styles or categories. Their products are thoroughly American at heart: blending Old World tradition and expertise with ingenuity, creativity and boldness. They are dedicated to making beer from the inside out: they brew what they like to drink – with utter disregard for what the market demands – and search out fans with equally eccentric palates.

Thanks for arranging last night. Love Avery, great selection, not a fan of the actual venue.

I like the idea of the flight if they could streamline the serving process. Long lines for a 4-5 oz pour?

Sometimes they'll do a couple glasses at a time when the lines are long. It's worth asking if you've had to wait a while.

Tell OG enough with the Thursdays! Let's have events on some other nights, like when I might be able to make it.

Though an event at *Stein's* on a Thursday can work so long as I can get in and out by 7:15.

Not your fault, Mike. But frustrating.

Yeah, I'm not sure why all the Original Gravity events are on Thursdays. I'll mention to the OG guys that other days would work better for some of us.
