We have been invited out to Triple Voodoo for a pint night. This will also be a glass giveaway!
Triple Voodoo has been in bars, restaurants, and retail stores since 2011. In Fall 2013, they found a brewery space all their own, and the Triple Voodoo Brewery and Taproom opened on 3rd Street in the Dogpatch just in time for Beer Week 2014. They have a 10 barrel brewing system, and Phil Meeker (formerly of Iron Springs in Fairfax) has joined on as their head brewer.
There will be 10 beers on draft, 6 of which are new since our last meetup! Their current offerings are
Phantome Empire Grisette-wheat based saison (5% abv, 25 ibu)
Breaka' Dawn-Belgian Pale Ale (5.3% abv, 30 ibu)
Rubberneck Rye-Reduced Gluten Rye Pale Ale (6% abv, 50 ibu)
Samurai-Dry Hopped Saison (6.5% abv, 40 ibu)
Anarchy IPA-West Coast style IPA (6.6% abv, 60 ibu)
Stag Hop #1-100% Sorachi Ace hopped XPA (7% abv, 30 ibu)
Say Hey-Saison spiced with kaffir lime, lavender, and lemon verbena (7.2% abv, 30 ibu)
Inception-Belgian Golden Ale (8% abv, 35 ibu)
8 Tentacles-Imperial IPA (9% abv, 80 ibu)
Honey Belgian Strong ale (this will be released on June 20th-details to follow!)
They also offer the awesome root beer from Devil's Canyon.
We will have $1 off all drafts from 6pm-10pm, but you will need a nametag for the discount, so see me before you order your first beer.
The 22 bus, 48 bus, and T muni train all stop within about 1,000 feet of the front door, so no one needs to drive to this event. All 3 lines connect directly to Bart. The brewery is also a 10 minute walk from the 22nd Street Caltrain station.
There is also yummy Mexican and El Salvadorian food available from The New Spot, a restaurant around the corner. They deliver right to your barstool too!
