Had a great time at this event. These were the highlights for me:
Stillwater As follows Pale Ale, Scaldis Peche de Mel, Allagash Black Bourbon Aged Ale, and Stone Cali-Beligique. Thanks to everyone that helped organize.

Kin, Mike, Laura; I wouldn't min joining the hike as well. You're walking from Powell?

Can we please take all back and forth conversations to email? Every time anyone adds a comment everyone that has RSVP'd get's an email notification.

Sorry, Tom! (Didn't realize that was an option.) On the other hand, if any other attendees would like to come early to grab a lunch before the event, please send me an email. (LMorland AT gmail.com)

Hello Laura and Mike, I'll be walking over from the general area and happy to be downtown ambassador if you both want to get off the Powell station. Laura, look forward to seeing you again.

Mike, Kin texted me and suggested we meet (an hour?) earlier and lunch before the event. I don't want to try 40 beers on an empty stomach! How about you? (Kin is really a nice-looking person; don't let the fake red lips fool ya! ;-)

Laura, you crack me up! :O We both look rather normal, Mike. I'll be texting some casual eating suggestions out to Laura. Let us know if you'd like to join.

Does anyone recall whether there's gong to be any food at this event? Tasting 40 beers in two hours will be hard without something to nibble on....

    September 3, 2012

    • Laura Morland

That sounds great. So we can buy some food and sit down with it at the tables? (Are there tables? Or will we be gliding from sample to sample?)

      September 3, 2012

    • Tom

There are usually a couple of tables inside and a couple outside but most of the bar will be set up before the tasting.

Anyone planning to take BART and walk? I haven't been to the Amsterdam Cafe before and wouldn't mind company. It looks like my best bet is to arrive at the Civic Center station at 1:35pm, assuming it's better to be early than late.

Hi, I'm going alone (my friend was already "taken" at another Meetup), am planning to take BART, and wouldn't mind company either! I'm coming from the East Bay, Mike -- what about you?

P.S. I am not really a Siamese cat. I should change my profile pic.
