Hi! We've been a little dormant this summer, but we're gearing up to continue our monthly dinners again this fall. Over the summer, Peter kept busy and did a dinner to benefit People's Grocery as part of the Eat Real festivities. Where food comes from, how it tastes and how it affects our health and the people in our community are very important issues for us -- and we hope for you too! Recently, the doors to Eccolo on 4th Street in Berkeley closed. Before Eccolo, there was Fourth Street Grill, which gave rise to the career of Mark Miller, a pioneer of California cuisine.

Next Sunday, September 13, we want to bring back a bit of Fourth Street Grill to you; the menu features global cuisine with a "California" point-of-view! A swank outdoor oasis and Lake Merritt will serve as the backdrop for the event and BACH will be performing. Thanks! Eat with you soon!
