Case Study: Monitoring System for Motor Yacht "Acania," presented by Dmitriy Tadenev - Arktur Consulting

Acania is a 136 ft luxury motor yacht built in 1930 (see: http://www.acaniayacht.com). It is rumored to be owned by El Capone and used for rum running during the Prohibition. In[masked] MY Acania underwent a major restoration - including installing a custom Monitoring System using NI-9146 and NI-9148 cRIO chassis and NI C-Series Modules. This presentation covers Requirements, Development Strategy, HW/SW Architecture and Design Patterns used in the Monitoring System (spoiler: Agile SW Design, Dependency Inversion Principle, Dependency Injection Pattern, Event Aggregator Pattern, Message Broker implementation in LabVIEW).
