Camera Cinema Club

What will we see? We will not know what the film will be before it is shown. The club director tries for films that have done well in film festivals, but not yet released, where he can get a guest from the film for the discussion. We tend to see a broader range of films than just the coming blockbusters. He gets a guest from the film either in person or by a skype interview most of the time.

When your arrive, go into the theater and tell the person checking people in that you are with the meetup group. This person will direct you to me. The event starts with a trivia contest at 10:15 followed by the movie at 10:30. You can not get in late so you must arrive by 10:15!

Cost: If it is your first time coming to the cinema club you gets a discounted $10 price, after that it is $20. You need to have cash. You can get a membership where you also get invitations to sneak previews and the cost is less per movie

Details: You may want to arrive early. Some of us are here at 9:30 when the doors open. There is a free breakfast spread of bagels, cream cheese, pastries, coffee and popcorn. There will be a discussion usually with the director of the film after the trivia contest and movie. Some of us will go out for coffee and/or lunch after the event.

Recent films were "The Dressmaker", "Nuts!" and "Florence Foster Jenkins".
