It might prove to be logistically difficult though, since we're never really sure what the final count and amount will be. So we're never really sure about how much will be leftover. I'll think more about it and speak to our board of directors to see what can be arranged. Thanks!

Hi Kate, sounds like a great idea, however I don't think it can work for us at this point in time.
We are already maxed making take outs for people who order them and pay $15 per meal - which is an amazing deal in itself. We are a non profit organization and make usually just enough to cover our costs. The price for a dinner hasn't increased in years, but food prices have as well as gas etc. If, on a night when we do have lots of leftovers we can donate them to the shelter, I'm all for it!
