Ugly Holiday Sweater Pub Crawl in Rockridge

It's BACK! The Ugly Holiday Sweater Pub Crawl!

*Note: This is a joint event with my Young Professionals Social Group*

Who: You and a bunch of other cool people

What: Pub crawling up College Avenue while wearing really awful holiday sweaters

When: 1:00pm to 8:00pm

Where: See Details Below

Why: Because it's the holidays, and because a large group of people in really ugly sweaters will be a lot of fun

If you've never heard of this before, an Ugly Holiday Sweater Party is just like a normal party/gathering, except everyone HAS TO show up wearing the ugliest/cheesiest/scariest looking holiday sweater they can possibly find.

I'm serious here. Sweaters are required. The uglier the better.

Here's the game plan. We are going to start at 1pm at Barclay's, a bar on the corner of College Avenue and Harwood Avenue, a short walk from the Rockridge BART station.

We'll spend about an hour in each bar and will then move on from there. All of the bars are within walking distance of each other. I have alloted 30 minutes between each bar as a buffer to allow time for people closing out tabs and walking (possibly stumbling) to the next location. As things tend to go with big groups, it's hard to stick to a strict time schedule. Hopefully these small breaks will help to account for that.

Feel free to join up or leave this event whenever you would like. We are not reserving space at any of these bars, so it's open to whomever wants to join, whenever they feel like showing up. I will have my cell phone on me all day and will send out the number to everyone the day before the event. Feel free to call or text me if you need to find out where we are.

Where are we going, you ask? Here is the list of places we'll be and when:

Time: 1:00pm - 2:00pm
Location: Barclay's
Address: 5940 College Avenue, Oakland, CA 94618

Time: 2:30pm - 3:30pm
Location: Ben and Nick's
Address: 5612 College Avenue, Oakland, CA 94618

Time: 4:00pm - 5:00pm
Location: The Hut
Address: 5515 College Avenue, Oakland, CA 94618

Time: 5:30pm - 6:30pm
Location: George and Walt's
Address: 5445 College Avenue, Oakland, CA 94618

Time: 7:00pm - 8:00pm
Location: McNally's
Address: 5352 College Avenue, Oakland, CA 94618

If you are taking BART, I would suggest getting off at the Rockridge BART station, turning right when you get out of the station, and walking down College Avenue to Barclay's on the corner of College Avenue and Harwood Avenue. It's only about a 10 minute walk.

If you are driving, there are pay lots that can be found. I'm not sure where they're located or how much they are, so you'll have to figure that out on your own. There is also metered parking on all of the Oakland streets which is enforced until 6 pm.

I hope to see many of you there again this year! It should be a great time. Be sure to bring out your best holiday spirit for the event. The more we all get dressed up for this, the more fun we will have!

Happy Holidays!!!

I decided to start Reno Motorcycle Riders Group because I wanted to be part of a group of people who enjoyed my passion... I was excited and nervous. Our group has grown by leaps and bounds. I never thought it would be this big.
