Thanks Cindy. I'm looking forward to your events in the new year. I'll be in Europe then.
See you in 2010!
Love Colleen

Subject: [toltec-36] New Meetup: Community gathering and Mitote

Announcing a new Meetup for Bay Area Toltec Shamanic Wisdom!

What: Community gathering and Mitote

When: December 12,[masked]:30 PM

Where: Private home in Berkeley. RSVP to hold your space, get directions, and receive information about what to bring.

Please join us for an evening of community and a Mitote, an all night dreaming ceremony. This is a community gathering for folks who have been through the SpiritWeavers apprenticeship, and we are opening it to friends and to anyone interested in the new SpiritWeavers circle which will be starting in February.

Don Miguel Ruiz, author of The Four Agreements, created the Mitote ceremony to help his students break old patterns of behavior and to break the boundaries between dreaming in our sleep and our day dream. The Toltecs believed that we live our lives largely out of reaction to the circumstances of our childhoods, our cultures, indeed, everything we believe in. They call this "the dream of the planet". The challenge is to wake up from the dream so that we can freely chose in every moment, no longer limited by the structures of our belief systems. When one wakes up in a dream, they can do anything. By blurring the boundary between waking and sleeping, we begin to wake up from the dream of the planet.

Some people love Mitote's, some hate them. If it makes you feel good, great. If not, great. No judgments.

6 PM - Doors open
6:30 - Potluck dinner (optional)
8 PM - Activities begin
All night ceremony (you will bring bedding to sleep over)
8 AM end time
