  • This is the first one here of the year.  My easiest hike.  Gradual trek to the top of the Sonoma Town Square & the very old mountain Cemetary.  It holds the grave of the only person in Ca. who fought in the Revolutionary war.  It's marked 1787.

After our hike we will have a picnic with wine next to a very, very old reservoir filled with large Koi fish & turtles.  Then our Docent will tour us thru the historical "General Vallejo Home".  Following this we will head into the town square for some serious "Wine tasting" & more historical places to browse.

All the wine all day is included.  (I have pull in Sonoma).

I''l also supply water, Juice, Soda, Tea, Coffee, Snacks, trail bars, Fruit & Nut packs, hiking poles, parking fees, Wine, & a great day.

    Wear shoes with good tread.

    Our dinner option follows.

    Only $25.

    More info to follow.

A super fun day for a lot of peo-ple. easy hike. A great historical tour, wine picnic with turtles & huge Koi fish. And then the rest of the day to wander all over the Town Square shopping & wine tasting, as I had passes for all. Such a deal for 25 bucks.
Some of us had a great dinner after. The fun is hard to stop.

I have to keep my "Certified Fun Provider" credentials in order.

This is my easiest hike. very easy at about 3.5 miles. But we will be going up among all the flowers.
Please note: watch for the entrance at 3rd St. west & Spain st. There will be a sign that says: General Vallejo home & state park entrance. Drive down the tree lined dr. to the end & turn right & park in the big lot.

We just grab a coffee and speak French. Some people have been coming every week for months... it creates a kind of warmth to the group.
