A bottle of Harrington Pinot Noir came out on top of our last taste-off this past Saturday at Split Bread restaurant. The owner, Bryan Harrington, has supported our fundraisers (PAIRINGS) and has consistently produced delicious wines. So I thought I would share this invite which I normall wouldn't clog your inbox with unless I thought it was worth it.
The winery is holding its Annual Holiday Open House on Saturday, November 17th.
Taste and enjoy the 2010 single vineyard Pinot Noirs, a selection of 2012 barrel samples and a review of library Pinot Noirs. Also off ered for tasting will be three wines made from very rare grapes in California, Nebbiolo, Teroldego and Tannat along with a juicy red blend meant for the table.
Savory wine-friendly appetizers will be served.
Time: Saturday, November 17th, 12 to 5 PM
Location: 1559 Custer Avenue, San Francisco, CA (near Cesar Chavez and 3rd St.) Worth the trip
Admission: $15 at the door, admission fee will be applied towards any wine purchase.
For the Open House date only, a 10% discount will be applied to all full case purchases (mixed cases also).
