Azure Sync, Desktop Sync, Mobile Sync Oh My

In the not always connected world, synchronization is very important. The Microsoft landscape around synchronization is fraught with duplication and inconsistencies in its offerings. From Sync Framework to Azure Mobile and OData, there is a lot of confusion. In this talk, Peter Kellner will present and discuss many of the offerings. Specifically, he plans on talking about how to synchronize SqlAzure using ASP.NET’s Web API using a simple Windows 8 Store app in XAML. The current solution for Azure Mobile only works in a connected environment. The Windows 8 Store app he will be demonstrating takes this one step further and will work in a part time connected world also.
