An Evening with William Gibson

  • February 9, 2008 · 7:30 PM
  • Woodward Instructional Resources Centre - UBC

The Vancouver Institute Spring operates a number of free lectures throughout the year and coming up in February is A Night with William Gibson. Apparently, there are few details about the event other than to note that it is free and open to the public and will likely make for interesting discussion.

The event starts at 8:15PM but we will be meeting at 7:30 outside of the building. Meeting details may change slightly closer to the event but for the time being, that's the plan.

If you need additional information on finding the building, a map can be seen here.

Hope to see you there!

Typical Vancouver Institute evening, but both the introduction and the thank-you were short - Great!

The speaker was very generous with his thoughts and time. It was good to see WG and hear his latest thoughts. And it was great to talk with fellow bookcrossers about what we had heard.

Thanks for the details Helen. I JUST found out about this and can't believe they're free. The last time I saw Gibson talk I had to pay $20!

    Really looking forward to it!
